So we live in a one bedroom apt with our daughter. I know that she's "talking" with other people she's into. (serial cheater, together 7 years), Were not officially D yet, but will be filing asap. I can't stand living with her. I just want to move out. Is there any financial tips or things to do for extra cash people know work? I already work fulltime and have done DoorDash twice in the last week.

Who's on the lease and when does it expire? What is the plan for where you each live going together? Any chance she can move in with family? Can you? Can you get a temporary custody agreement worked out now?

I feel for you brother. In home separation (HIS) is a special kind of hell, especially where the cheating spouse is still cheating. I’ve lived it, it sucks.

Not sure I have much to offer.

The door dash is a good start. Mow lawns? Seasonal work at a farm?

I got a part time job at a campground doing security on the weekends. Not a hard job and it’s seasonal, so it will end in the fall and I can determine what to do from there. It also keeps me occupied on the weekends.

I’ve thankfully been able to move out after about 6 months of IHS.

Mortgage rates are very low right now (although housing prices are through the roof). It may be worth pursuing a mortgage…I did this and basically bought the first decent house that came along (I was fortunate to have family help with $$)…it’s not the house I want, in an ideal situation I would not have bought it. But I’m free from infidelity and I actually like the house.

Hang in there. Keep your eye on the prize…, being free from infidelity.

So were both on the lease and it doesn't expire until November this year. I know she has no where else to go, and My only other option would be to move in with my brother and his family but they live a little over an hour away.. This is going to be the longest 4 months ever.
