Just a quick update for any of the gang that may be lurking around from my time here long ago…

G5 and I have been together for 7+ years now and he is moving in!!

It’s a slow move as he purges things from his home and gets ready to sell it. Probably in the next few months the move will be complete.

I’m really excited to be taking this next step together. We always joke that when you put us together we balance out each other’s weirdness into one relatively normal person.

He expects nothing from me. He loves me for ME, and not for what I can do for him. It’s a wonderful feeling.

If you’re new here, hang in there. Things WILL get better!!

I love this! Congratulations on the moving in part. I look forward to this part with my new partner. We are currently discussing the logistics. Might happen in the next year or so, we are also taking things slow. What a fabulous update!

Such happy news! ( I always said I would never live with a man again. Now, I say, "never say never."). It’s so good to see members here come out the other side better than ever. There is hope, there is love, there is life after infidelity. In most cases, they did us huge favors. Hahaaa! Bye, trash! Onward!

Congrats, nekorb!

Thanks, everyone!

We are almost there. Spent the last few days doing some needed repairs and cleaning to G5’s house before it can go on the market. LIFE is going on, so it will be a couple of weeks before we get back there to do our final push of projects, cleaning, and cleaning OUT. That will be the move in weekend. grin Two weeks after that we have a dumpster coming to get rid of leftover furniture that can’t be donated/sold so the house will be completely empty, the carpet cleaning a couple days later and then BOOM, on the market!

So exciting!

I remember back in the beginning of all of this thinking that I would never want to be with a man again, then it was I’ll date but no commitment, then it was long term relationships are ok, but no marriage, and now I’m at the point that I would marry G5, but neither of us sees the point/benefit at our age! G5 does not want to get married on paper, and I have no problem with that, as my NPD asshat EXWH showed me that the paper doesn’t mean anything in the end, it’s the commitment of the parties involved.

I hope everyone is having a great day and moving along on your healing journey!
