Update: While I've never received an answer to the email I sent to her husband, I did see where his band cancelled their gig Friday night due to "unforeseen circumstances". Interesting coincidence or not, I hope her weekend was hell.

crazycatlady - as the wife of a musician - I know just how much cancelling that gig last minute cost him [both financially and reputation]

If I were a betting person - I'd say "message received"

This is coming from a dog-person so take it at whatever value you place on it...

Let go of the OW and her husband...
The original problem in this thread was that she was intervening in your life. You dealt with that in a great decisive way.
After that – just leave them be.

If you saw the notification for the ban by coincidence – fine. But if you are actively looking them up on social media or whatever... Don’t. Don’t let them live rent-free in your brain.

View them as you would dog-shit you just stepped in. You might spend some minutes cursing us dog-people in general and then maybe a minute wiping your sole on some grass. After that you might take better care where you step, but you wouldn’t walk around looking for dog-shit to not step in.

That’s it... I’m out adjusting the sprinkler to keep the cats away from the feeding birds in my garden! laugh

Bigger, you are wise. They are crap. I am a retired history teacher though with an excellent memory and innate ability to see causes and effects. My intuition is creepy too. It’s hard to let it go but it has been 18 years and I have mostly done so unless she tries to contact. That alone brings out the best and worst in me. This will pass. Just like gas. laugh
As for animals, I love them all. Dogs, cats, birds, spiders (well not the poisonous ones.) I prefer them to humans. laugh
